Here at Fivemics we loved the indie scene in the mid 90's. So when One Leg Up Records (check http://oneleguprecords.blogspot.com) pressed this limited to 200 records, we snapped one straight away. The thing is we thought $80 was a bit expensive but the chaps at OLUR assured us it was an investment for the future. What do people think??? Will vinyl be worth anything in the future??? Or will it go the way of the video cassette???
We feel at present its definitely a buyers market and bargains are there to be had. Scratch Live has changed the game forever and currently people are thinning out their record collections. But this is a great time for people like us who can pick up gems they missed for a couple of quid. Anyhow we doubt very much that this Cenobites EP will be a good investment, but thats not what collecting vinyl is about, is it???
